Continue filling in the form with the contact Name for the event. If there is no particular contact person, then you may leave this field blank. However,t is always a good idea to have a contact name for an event, and to provide an Email address so that people can contact the organizer for more information. Note that the email address is not exposed to web crawlers for spammers to capture. The email address is only displayed when someone clicks on an event in our calendar for our users to view.

If there is information on the web related to this event, you can put the web address (the URL) in the form. Users will be able to click on this address when they view the event.
The Notes field is very important. This is where you can put all the additional information about the event. You can specify additional contact information, details about what to bring, and any additional information about the event. The Notes field may contain formatted text. At the top of the field is a toolbar with the typical formatting elements found in an HTML or word processor. You can add color, create a table, use bulleted lists, and much more! The contents of the Notes field will popup in the calendar when the user hovers his mouse over the name of the event. It will also appear if the user clicks on the event name to view the event form.
The Flag option is used to highlight an event in the calendar. For example, the entry for election day in November is flagged. The title appears in red and the background color o the event is different from other entries. Use this option sparingly or it will lose its impact to highlight an important event.
If you like, you can "decorate" your entry with an Icon. The icon chooser will show you all the icons available to use. There is a palete of standard icons plus a small palete of additional icons for NTL. If you want to add an icon, please contact the NTL webmaster who can give you instructions on how to create an icon.
